Full job description

Therian Productions is an independent film and streaming production studio working across creative development, and international film and streaming productions. We are seeking an exceptional graduate for a junior executive-track role combining analytical research, story development, and strategic support for our feature film slate.

The role is ideal for candidates from leading UK universities with strong academic backgrounds in the humanities or social sciences—History, English, Classics, Philosophy, PPE, Modern Languages, or related disciplines requiring exceptional writing and critical thinking.

Role Overview

You will contribute to:

  • Creative development analysis (script, book, and market evaluation)
  • Research across culture, history, talent, and international markets
  • Media strategy and film-finance briefing documents
  • Preparation of decks, memos, and executive communications
  • Coordination with writers, agents, financiers, and partners
  • Potential on-set role in one or more of the company's productions

Ideal Candidate

You are thoughtful, articulate, analytically minded, and motivated by a career in creative strategy, development, or film producing. You are good with people in person and online and happy to work as part of a team or independently.
