Full job description

Outbound Sales Advisor - Fully Remote

Key points

  • Major UK insurance company (trusted by millions).
  • Completely remote position.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
  • Basic salary of £25,500.
  • Average bonus of £500-£700 per month (top performers go above this).
  • Great benefits, training and progression.

Are you motivated by targets, undaunted by challenges, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, sales environment? If you’re looking for a role where hard work pays off and career progression is real, this could be the perfect fit.

The Role in a Nutshell

You’ll be making outbound sales calls to current, ex-, and potential customers, helping them choose the best insurance products for their appliances or devices. This is a remote role where resilience, rapport-building, and motivation are key to success.

If you’re self-motivated, great at building rapport, and thrive in a remote environment, this role is built for you.

Day to day, you will be;

  • Calling customers with new products, campaigns and offers
  • Helping customers decide on the best package for them

You will be given two weeks initial training, and then ongoing support in your role to ensure you flourish, and achieve your targets. There is lots of opportunity for internal progression within the company.

What experience do you need to apply?

You will need a background in targeted sales, preferably in a volume environment. This experience can be from selling on the phone or face to face. This does not need to have come from a regulated environment.

For the best chance of being shortlisted, ensure your CV has dates and large gaps explained.

What’s the reward?

  • Generous bonus potential (average £500-£700 p/m dependant on team and campaign)
  • Remote working
  • 33 days holiday (including bank hols)
  • Clear progression routes into more senior sales roles or sideways into other areas of the business
  • Great benefits package (health and wellbeing schemes, insurance policy benefits, enhanced employer pension and salary sacrifice schemes).
  • Hopefully, a long and successful career in financial services

Role essentials

  • Have a history working in a direct-to-customer sales environment of at least 12 months.
  • A great attitude to customer service, sales and working alongside a team.
  • Have access to broadband and a place to work from home (you will be given all the equipment you need).
  • Be able to work shifts with a finish time no later than 19:30 in the week and 17:30 on a Friday.

Final point
Working remotely isn't for everyone. It requires a self-starter mentality, the ability to bounce back from challenges, and a determination to hit your targets without someone physically nearby to cheer you on. Sound like you?

Recruitment Process

The whole process can move quite quickly depending on how responsive you are. Each does need you to pass the previous one but hopefully this gives you some reassurance on what is involved.

  • Online application (5 mins)
  • Video call with one of the Talent Tent Team (15 minute)
  • 30 minute online assessment from client (30 mins)
  • Interview with client (60 minutes)

We will need to see your proof of right to work in the UK as part of the process.
