Job Title: Account Manager / Strategic Partnerships Manager

Salary base: £35,000 p/a - £45,000 p/a (+ uncapped commission)

About Us: Acumen Media is a leading B2B film production company, specialising in documentaries and multimedia campaigns that position our clients as thought leaders and industry innovators. With media partnerships such as Financial Times, Reuters, CBS News, and more, we deliver content that drives impact and reaches global audiences.

Role Overview: We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact in a key role as an AM/ Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team. This role will focus on managing relations and generating revenue from existing clients in order to spearhead client engagement, strategic planning, and campaign execution; ensuring our partners maximise the value of their collaboration with us across our divisions and product offerings.

From guiding clients in their thought leadership journeys to developing immersive thought leadership strategies, this role is critical to elevating Acumen’s clients on prestigious platforms and helping them meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Strategy Development: Build tailored strategies for clients, focusing on how to best position them as thought leaders across Acumen’s media partnerships and campaigns.
  • High-Impact Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, identifying upsell opportunities and ensuring ongoing alignment with Acumen’s content and media offerings.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate closely with creative and production teams to execute a unified vision for each project, balancing client needs with Acumen’s creative strengths.
  • Thought Leadership Initiatives: Identify thought leadership opportunities for clients, using industry insights to guide projects that cement client brands as industry experts.
  • Reporting & Strategic Analysis: Regularly assess campaign performance and refine strategies to maximise client ROI and campaign reach.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years in account management
  • Sales (preferably within media/ production or related fields)
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Client strategy
  • Business development
  • Media strategy

Skills:

  • Exceptional client relationship and account management skills
  • Strong understanding of media distribution and thought leadership positioning
  • Ability to develop high-value content strategies aligned with client goals
  • Proven track record of securing long-term partnerships and expanding contract values
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite executives
  • Desirable - media sales experience
