Job Title: Independent Financial Adviser (Review Adviser)

Salary: up to £60,000 Basic + OTE £75,000 - £90,000

Location: Chatham, Kent – Fully Office-Based

About our clients and the role:

Swarm Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a growing and genuinely independent Financial Planning business based in Chatham.

The business has built its reputation around putting clients at the heart of everything they do, with a strong focus on quality, long-term relationships and delivering advice that genuinely meets each client's individual needs. With a team of around 14 people, including five Financial Advisers, the firm has developed a strong support structure around its advisers, with experienced Paraplanning and Administration teams allowing advisers to focus on their clients.

The business is continuing to invest in its people, technology and proposition, with a recently upgraded CRM system incorporating AI technology and further developments underway within the office.

They are now looking to appoint a Level 4 qualified Financial Review Adviser to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and would value the opportunity to inherit and develop a quality client bank.

The successful candidate will initially take responsibility for approximately 200 clients. You will become responsible for servicing these clients, conducting regular reviews and identifying opportunities to provide additional advice where appropriate.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
• OTE: £75,000 - £90,000

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Fully office-based in Chatham

Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Adviser who is confident dealing directly with clients and is looking for an opportunity to take ownership of an established client bank.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
• Previous client-facing Financial Advice experience
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
• Experience conducting client reviews and managing ongoing client relationships
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially aware, with the ability to identify opportunities within an existing client bank
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary and workload
• High level of professionalism and commitment to FCA and regulatory requirements
• A genuine desire to deliver excellent client outcomes
• Intelligent Office (iO) experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Take ownership of an established client bank of approximately 200 clients
• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Conduct regular financial reviews with clients
• Deliver advice across pensions, investments and protection
• Conduct client meetings face-to-face, by telephone and via video
• Identify additional planning opportunities within the existing client bank
• Develop new business through existing relationships, referrals and your own professional network
• Work closely with Paraplanners and Administrators to ensure clients receive an efficient and high-quality service
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records
• Ensure all advice is delivered in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
• Work towards agreed KPIs and commercial objectives
• Contribute positively to the wider adviser team and company culture
• Make use of the firm's extensive support structure to maximise time spent with clients
• Maintain a high standard of client communication and service throughout the advice process
