The role
We're on the look for a Medico-Legal Adviser to join our growing Medical Team.

As a Medico-Legal Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and assistance to MDDUS members. As a pivotal part of our team, you will champion membership and development initiatives, aligning seamlessly with our corporate and financial objectives. Your commitment will be instrumental in upholding our values, putting our members at the forefront of everything that we do.

We're in search of candidates who are passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and who can add real value to the care of our members. Your knowledge of general practice, private practice, or secondary medical care across the UK will be your greatest asset.

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

  • Education: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Professional Registration: Current GMC Registration with an active Licence to Practise.
  • Membership: Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners or equivalent.*

Desirable Requirements for the Role:*

  • Legal Qualification: Masters degree in Medical Law, LLB, or postgraduate diploma in law, or membership of the Bar (practising or non-practising).
