Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Financial Planner, where you will develop the foundational skills necessary to guide clients toward achieving their financial goals. This position would suit someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong technical foundations and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals

Duties

  • Managing a client base of circa 75 existing client relationships
  • Growing the client base through referrals
  • Managing and completing post-meeting action points
  • Preparing detailed cashflow modelling reports
  • Responding to client queries (technical and administrative)
  • Developing professional connections to enable referral relationships to grow
  • Managing workflow through CRM systems and internal tracking tools

Requirements

  • Strong interest in financial services and a passion for helping others achieve their financial aspirations
  • Basic understanding of financial planning concepts and investment principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to analyse information critically and pay close attention to detail
  • Prior experience or coursework in finance, economics, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
  • Passed of R01 or achievement of Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
