Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Financial Planner, where you will develop the foundational skills necessary to guide clients toward achieving their financial goals. This fully employed role offers a dynamic environment filled with learning opportunities, mentorship, and hands-on experience in the vibrant world of financial services and planning. Your enthusiasm and proactive attitude will be instrumental in helping clients navigate complex financial decisions, setting the stage for a rewarding career in financial advisory.

This position would suit someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong technical foundations and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals

Duties

  • Managing a client base of circa 75 existing client relationships
  • Growing the client base through referrals
  • Managing and completing post-meeting action points
  • Preparing detailed cashflow modelling reports
  • Responding to client queries (technical and administrative)
  • Developing professional connections to enable referral relationships to grow
  • Managing workflow through CRM systems and internal tracking tools

Requirements

  • Strong interest in financial services and a passion for helping others achieve their financial aspirations
  • Basic understanding of financial planning concepts and investment principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to analyse information critically and pay close attention to detail
  • Prior experience or coursework in finance, economics, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
  • Passed of R01 or achievement of Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
