Full job description

JServicing IFA Adviser

Miller Knight | Lingfield, Surrey
£50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience | Hybrid | Full-time

A financial planning role where the clients really are waiting for you.

Plenty of Adviser roles promise that you'll be given clients to look after.

This one actually will.

Miller Knight is looking for a Servicing IFA Adviser to join its established team and take responsibility for a group of existing clients – building genuine long-term relationships and helping them use their money to create the life they want.

There is no requirement to bring a client bank with you and no expectation that you spend your time chasing new business.

And your salary isn't dependent on how much revenue you generate.

You'll be paid a good salary for doing a great job for your clients.

About Miller Knight

Miller Knight is an independent, family-owned lifestyle financial planning firm based in Lingfield, established in 2001.

Their aim is a big one: to be the best company their clients interact with in their lives.

That means financial planning here goes beyond products, pensions and investments. It's about understanding what someone wants from their life and helping them make the financial decisions that will get them there.

It's a modern, close-knit practice where relationships, technical excellence and doing the right thing for clients matter.

The opportunity

You'll gradually take responsibility for an existing group of clients and their ongoing financial planning needs.

You'll conduct planning meetings, review financial plans and cash-flow forecasts, advise on investment and withdrawal strategies and help clients make confident decisions from early saving through to estate and IHT planning.

This could be a great move for an existing Adviser. But it could equally suit someone earlier in their career – perhaps from a strong paraplanning or technical background – who is ready to make the move into advice.

About you

You'll need to be Level 4 Diploma qualified and have a strong grounding in financial planning.

Ideally you'll already have CAS, but don't automatically rule yourself out if you haven't. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to achieve this with Miller Knight.

More importantly, you'll genuinely enjoy working with people. You'll be curious, thoughtful, technically capable and able to build the kind of relationships where clients trust you with the things that really matter.

Miller Knight previously described this as wanting someone who will “love our clients to death” – and that probably still sums it up rather well.

What you'll get

£50,000 – £65,000 salary, depending on experience and qualifications, with no fee-generation-related bonus targets.

You'll also receive a 5% employer pension contribution, rising to 12% after three years, death in service cover at 4x salary, 25 days' holiday, your birthday off and Christmas leave. The role is hybrid, with around three days a week in the Lingfield office.

Interested?

Miller Knight is partnering with Recruitment Rebellion to recruit for this role.

Apply with your CV and we'll take it from there. Please let us know if you need any adjustments.
