Job description

We are seeking a competent, friendly and experienced ( min 3 years in this type of role) financial services administrator to join our office in Eastbourne. You must be well organised with keen attention to detail and have a willingness to learn.

The successful applicant will support the business owner/financial planner and another staff members with administration support, to provide clients with an unsurpassed level of service, providing a vital link in the smooth running and efficiency of the business.

Candidate Requirements

  • A previous role in financial services administration is considered essential for this role
  • Liaising with clients and providers by phone, via their secure platform or by email and letter
  • Telephone answering and message taking
  • Diary and task management
  • Diligent use of our back-office system INTELLIGENT OFFICE to record client details, tasks, plans etc
  • Liaising with product providers to obtain and chase information
  • Processing new business applications, both paper-based and online, then chasing cases through to completion
  • Researching fund performance
  • Preparation of illustrations and key features
  • Producing client reports from various sources
  • Administering fund switches and portfolio rebalances
  • General office duties to include scanning, filing, photocopying, appointment booking
  • Administrative duties to support financial adviser and paraplanners
  • The ability to work alone and on own initiative
  • Salary to be agreed reflective of experience
  • 20 days holiday per calendar year pro-rata plus statutory bank holidays
  • Holiday entitlement will increase with service
  • Pension contribution after probationary period

Job Type: Full-time
