Job description

IFA Administrator / Junior Paraplanner – Belfast

Salary £25K - £30K (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Due to recent growth in our business, we are currently looking to recruit an IFA administrator / Junior Paraplanner for our busy Belfast office.

The role:

· To provide administrative support to Financial Advisers and Client Managers including client valuations, client reviews, suitability report writing, provider illustrations, new business processing across full range of retirement and investment planning.

· To develop and maintain relationships with clients and providers.

· Submission of new business applications, monitoring through to completion

· Maintaining and ensuring completeness of client files for compliance purposes

· Liaising with clients and professional bodies

· General Administration Duties

Essential Criteria

· Degree level qualified (preferably in Finance/Investment Management or related area/discipline) or at least 12 months experience working for an IFA or an insurance provider.

  • Be able to prioritise and work towards deadlines.
  • Be able to demonstrate working productively within a team environment.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent across the MS Office package and strong administration skills.

Desirable Criteria:

· Knowledge of investments, pensions, and protection products

· Have achieved or working towards Diploma level Financial Services / Certificate in Paraplanning qualifications

  • Good understanding of all relevant legislation and compliance requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
