Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Full Time, Self-Employed - Hours to suit

Salary: Uncapped commission and a fair split

Owing to a period of sustained growth, St Barts Finance Ltd are looking to recruit a self-motivated and confident Mortgage & Protection Adviser into our expanding team.

The role will be based in Winchester and you will be attached to one or two branches of a large multi-branch estate agency - which will supply you with mortgage and protection leads.

The Role

The role will involve assisting clients with advice and recommendation relating to Mortgages and Protection.

Leads will be provided from the Estate Agency branches and from our central team, but the ability to self-generate leads would be an advantage. You will be provided with a mobile phone, laptop and dedicated administration support (once your business volumes reach a minimum level).

Your appointments will be held in the Estate Agency branches/Teams/telephone, but you may also need to see clients at our other offices, or at their homes as necessary. This fun, social and busy office environment requires a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to take ownership when necessary.

The Candidate

You must have a minimum of one years’ experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser and be fully CeMAP qualified. Full training will be provided on our internal systems, compliance and processes.

You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

You will be comfortable holding meetings with clients and speaking to estate agents, accountants and solicitors and able to generate leads.

You will be expected to build good working relationships with the our Agency colleagues and be able to encourage them to pass you more leads moving forward. We would also expect referrals from yourself to our Financial Advisers for any clients needing investment & Pension advice.
