Executive Benefit Services (UK) Ltd is looking for an experienced, diligent, and hardworking individual to join our Team in Lanark.

We have a full-time role available for a Paraplanner / Trainee Paraplanner. We will consider part time with a minimum of 4-days.

We are a Chartered Financial Planning firm dedicated to providing comprehensive financial planning to our clients. We pride ourselves on giving clients the highest level of service in a professional manner.

We are looking for someone that will be able to work as part of a team in a busy office, with the ability to manage their own workload within reasonable timescales. Having a good working knowledge of IT including Outlook, Excel and Word is necessary. Previous experience of Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Virtual Cabinet and CashCalc is beneficial.

Financial Services knowledge and experience for either role is essential with a minimum of 2 years’ financial services experience.

A Paraplanner will be Diploma qualified as a minimum, with support offered if you wish to progress beyond this.

For a Trainee Paraplanner progress with Chartered Insurance Institute examinations will be beneficial but is not essential. You will have the opportunity to gain your Diploma qualification and will be encouraged to progress within the team.

Paraplanner role will allow hybrid working with a maximum of 2 days working from home when full time following completion of probation period.

Duties will include:

  • Checking client reviews and meeting packs for adviser
  • Liaising with product providers to gather information
  • Preparing relevant research and analysis for client recommendations
  • Preparing client correspondence including reports and recommendations
  • Ensuring all compliance requirements are met
  • Ensuring client instruction are actioned
  • Liaising with clients via telephone and email
  • Managing tasks and keeping client files fully up to date
