Full job description

Vision Independent Financial Planning is a dynamic and well-established financial advice network based in Cornwall. Founded 15 years ago by just two advisers and their wives, we take pride in maintaining a genuine family-oriented atmosphere across all aspects of our business, even as we’ve experienced rapid growth.

Our recent recognition as the Best Financial Advisers to Work For 2024 at the Professional Adviser Awards underscores the positive culture we’ve cultivated. At Vision, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. We treat them with care, respect, and foster an environment of open collaboration.

While prior experience in a client services role or as an administrator is preferred, we place equal importance on finding the right fit for our team. Full, hands-on training will be provided to ensure success. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and thrive in a busy office environment, adapting seamlessly to changing workload requirements.

The successful applicant will be based at our head office in Falmouth. As a Client Services Officer, their primary role will involve supporting the Team Leader by conducting quality and completeness checks on new business paperwork received from our network of Independent Financial Advisers.

We are looking for full-time hours Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls, responding to emails and managing internal review diaries
  • Quality assurance checking of new business and ongoing review paperwork
  • Accurate and efficient data input and maintenance
  • Generation and distribution of client feedback questionnaires as per company standards
  • Maintain outstanding paperwork records, ensuring missing data is chased in line with company policy
  • Attend and take an active role in team meetings

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn

Benefits:

  • Excellent company pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with levels of service
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Long service awards
  • Access to Share Incentive Plans and Save As You Earn Schemes
  • Cycle to work scheme

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £24,000.00 per year
