Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Salary: up to £36,000 Basic, OTE £50,000 - £90,000 plus Car Allowance

Location: Brighton and Hove (Hybrid)

Swarm Recruitment is working with a well-established, growing mortgage & protection firm looking to expand their team. Our clients have been successfully helping people with their financial needs for over 15 years, and are a leading firm in the Brighton area.

As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, you’ll provide expert advice to a range of clients, helping them navigate the homebuying and remortgage process. You'll have access to high-quality leads and a strong support network to help you succeed. This is a hybrid role, working from home and in the office, with a great admin support team.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary £24,000 - £36,000 (Depending on experience & bankings)

• OTE £50,000 - £90,000

• Threshold depending on salary and then 50% commission

Working Hours:

• Standard hours of 9am-5pm (Flexibility required for clients)
• Monday – Friday – No Weekends (Flexible for clients)
• Full-time
• Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser
• Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
• Fully CeMap qualified or equivalent qualifications
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
• A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone
• Provide expert advice to clients on a range of mortgage and protection products.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and insurers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest mortgage and protection regulations.
