We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mortgage Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on mortgage products, and ensuring a smooth transaction from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial services, enabling them to assist clients in making informed decisions regarding their mortgage options.

Duties

• Assess clients' financial situations and determine suitable mortgage products based on their needs.
• Contact applicants registered with our agency via phone or email to develop mortgage opportunities
• Provide comprehensive guidance throughout the mortgage application process, including documentation requirements and timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, market trends, and regulatory changes to offer accurate advice.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Conduct thorough reviews of loan applications and supporting documents to ensure compliance with lending criteria.
• Assist clients in understanding the implications of their mortgage choices, including interest rates and repayment terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve client experience.

Experience

• Proven 2 sales experience within mortgage and protection fields.
• Strong numerical skills with a solid foundation in basic maths to analyse financial information effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
