Independent Financial Planner - South Sheffield

Tempest Jones Consulting are thrilled to be representing a long-established and highly successful firm of Financial Planners in their South Sheffield office. This is an exciting time to join an already accomplished business that is undergoing a period of continued growth and expansion.
The opportunity we have is for an Independent Financial Planner to join an enthusiastic and dynamic team and to inherit and service an existing bank of loyal clients, looking after their investment, pension, IHT and protection needs, handling mainly individuals with a small amount of corporate.
There will also be access to a healthy flow of new business opportunities by way of online enquiries, referrals, website leads and leads from professional connections along with ongoing networking.
The successful candidate will have the support of a highly skilled and qualified administration and paraplanning team, thus freeing up their time to build and nurture client relationships and to conduct meetings.
A competitive salary will be on offer along with the chance to earn bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
There will also be support and ongoing professional development to Chartership along with potential managerial responsibilities further down the line, should a candidate display the desire and raw skills to develop in this way.
Essential criteria
Essential requirements for this role are Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as well as experience within a financial planning role. Excellent communication skills are needed as are confidence and the ability to build relationships over the phone and face to face in a professional and engaging way.
