Semi Senior Accountant

Are you a proactive and friendly accountant looking for an opportunity to be part of an ambitious, modern and digital accountancy practice?

We are recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant to join this forward thinking, client focussed and highly technology focussed accounting firm.

This is an amazing opportunity to a join a company that values your input and ideas, with the opportunity to build and develop your own client relationships and career.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own portfolio of clients, providing proactive support and building strong working relationships.
  • Preparing financial statements, VAT returns and other statutory filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Completing digital bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations and bespoke financial reporting using cloud-based software.
  • Supporting crypto accounting and blockchain-related projects while keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and working closely with the wider team to deliver an exceptional client experience.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience within an accountancy practice
  • Confident using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks and Dext, with strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and eager to develop your knowledge while keeping up to date with changes in the accounting industry.

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000
