Monday to Friday | Part-Time | Consistent Hours

Are you a qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a role that offers the perfect work-life balance?

Puddleducks Nursery North Finchley is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are offering a part-time position working five days per week, with a choice of either:

Morning Shift: 8:00am – 1:00pm

OR

Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

This role is ideal for experienced practitioners looking for consistent hours, parents returning to work, students with childcare qualifications, or anyone seeking a rewarding role within a warm and welcoming nursery environment.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You will work closely with colleagues, children and families to deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.
  • Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Deliver engaging play and learning opportunities.
  • Support children's daily routines and individual needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

What We're Looking ForEssential

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Experience working within an early years setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, positive and professional attitude.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
