Full job description

Chef de Partie – £24k | 35 Hours | No Kitchen Close

Tiny’s Kitchen – BristolSalary: £24,000 per yearHours: 35 hours per weekJob Type: Full-time

Restaurant Quality. Takeaway Speed.

Tiny’s Kitchen is a fast-growing independent food business in Bristol with a simple idea: combine restaurant-quality food and fresh ingredients with the speed, energy and accessibility of a modern takeaway.

We make our sauces in-house, prepare our ingredients fresh and operate a busy, high-volume kitchen where quality and consistency matter.

We’re looking for a strong Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and become part of Tiny’s as we continue to grow.

35 Hours Means 35 Hours – No Kitchen Close

We know how demanding hospitality can be, particularly when chefs finish a busy service and then face hours of cleaning.

We don’t operate like that.

This is a 35-hour-per-week position.

We employ Kitchen Porters who handle cleaning throughout service, while a dedicated professional cleaning team comes in after service to complete the kitchen clean.

There is no traditional end-of-night kitchen close or deep clean for our chefs.

You’ll still be expected to maintain excellent hygiene and organisation at your station throughout your shift, but when service finishes, we don’t expect our chefs to spend hours scrubbing down the kitchen.

We want our chefs focused on what they’re actually here to do: prep properly, cook great food and deliver an excellent service.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll work as part of our kitchen team producing restaurant-quality food in a genuinely fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing fresh ingredients ready for service
  • Working confidently across kitchen sections
  • Cooking consistently to Tiny’s recipes and standards
  • Maintaining portion and presentation consistency
  • Delivering food quickly and accurately during busy services
  • Keeping your section organised throughout service
  • Following food hygiene and food safety procedures
  • Helping receive and organise deliveries
  • Minimising waste
  • Communicating effectively with the rest of the kitchen team
  • Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, quick, organised and takes pride in their food.

You don’t need to come from fine dining. Experience in a busy restaurant, burger restaurant, street-food operation, casual dining restaurant or quality-focused takeaway would all be relevant.

What’s important is that you can work at pace while maintaining high standards.

You should:

  • Have professional kitchen experience
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced service
  • Work quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Take pride in the food you serve
  • Have good food hygiene standards
  • Be organised and reliable
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Be willing to learn our recipes and systems
  • Stay calm when the kitchen gets busy

Why Tiny’s?

Tiny’s is young, independent and growing quickly.

We’re building something that sits between traditional restaurants and conventional fast food: restaurant-quality food delivered through a modern, high-volume takeaway model.

We’re looking for people who want to become part of that growth.

What You Get

£24,000 per year - 35-hour working week - No traditional kitchen close - Kitchen Porters handle cleaning throughout service - Professional cleaning team handles the end-of-night clean - Fast-paced, modern kitchen - Fresh, restaurant-quality food - Opportunity to progress within a growing independent business

If you’re a chef who wants to cook great food in a fast-paced kitchen without the traditional hospitality hours and endless closes, we’d like to hear from you.

Pay: £24,000.00 per year
