Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as Assistant Restaurant Manager, to assist in the daily operations of our fine dining establishment, The Chefs Table.

You will need a strong background in hospitality with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, preferably with experience in a fine dining environment.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will, oversee a small but dynamic team to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • An ability to drive sales
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations are met, maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout.
  • Implement effective leadership strategies to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Assist in costings in line with company policies

Experience

  • Proven experience in supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, and restaurant operations.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operational needs.
  • Must have a genuine passion and love for this industry
