Job Summary

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling options to enhance the dining experience
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and serving processes
  • Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and provide excellent guest services
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and process payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations or assisting in kitchen activities when necessary
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
  • Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food presentation and safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
