AGF Fire Protection offer specialist Fire Protection services to businesses throughout the UK with a focus on multiple site location business.

Due to our continued growth, we are actively seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join our team.

As a Fire Risk Assessor for AGF Fire Protection you will be responsible for conducting site-based fire risk assessments within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and leisure within a specific timescale.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conducting on-site fire risk assessments as a priority and fire safety training courses would be beneficial.
Ensure buildings conform to the latest fire safety legislation and technical standards.
Generating detailed reports.
Sending reports to the office and lead assessor for review.
Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions.
Attending continuous professional development (CPD) Training / Industry Events.
Collaborating with our team to ensure continual improvement and sharing knowledge.

Requirements as an assessor

Minimum of 3 years continuous experience of fire risk assessment inspections and report writing.
Experience of undertaking and a good understanding of Type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments.
Broad range of property experience such as leisure, commercial and industrial.
Minimum of Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment.
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
Full UK (Clean) Driving Licence and DBS Check.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel.
Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
Understanding and experience of working with relevant fire safety legislation, standards and guidance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
