Role: National Fire Systems Manager
Location: North-West
Salary: up to £60,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance (£75k OTE)

Technical Resources are pleased to be working with one of the UK’s largest facilities management companies, who have a strongly established Fire and Security presence. Due to expansion, the require a National Fire Systems Manager to join their team in the North. Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager or a Senior Project Manager to take a step-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a team of 30 personnel, including Project Managers, Engineers and Office Staff.
  • Manage fire-related operations within the company, ensuring alignment with business goals as set by senior leadership.
  • Set clear departmental objectives, motivating and guiding the team to meet performance targets.
  • Analyze processes and propose innovative improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Provide training for new and current team members, supporting recruitment and onboarding efforts.
  • Develop budgets and identify strategies for business growth, with a focus on assessing P&L data.
  • Regularly meet with clients and senior management to report on progress and ensure service quality.
  • Network with key stakeholders to both retain current clients and acquire new business.
  • Uphold Health & Safety standards in line with company guidelines and promote awareness within the team.

Requirements:

  • Industry qualifications (e.g., FIA).
  • Over 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of CITB SMSTS or SSSTS certifications.
  • Experience managing large teams across multiple locations.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
