TestUK Ltd is a rapidly growing national electrical and fire safety compliance company working with major commercial clients across the UK including retail, commercial property and facilities management companies.

Our services include:

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
PAT Testing
Fire Alarm Servicing
Fire Door Inspections and Repairs
Fire Extinguishers

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Fire door project manager to develop and lead our expanding fire services division.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a department within a fast growing company.

Role Overview

The Fire door project manager will take responsibility for managing and growing TestUK's fire safety services including fire doors inspections, remedials and installation.

You will manage engineers, oversee compliance, liaise with clients and ensure all works are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the TestUK Fire Compliance Division

Overseeing:

Fire door inspections
Fire door repairs and remedial works
Fire door installations

Organising and scheduling engineers across projects

Quality assurance and compliance reporting

Producing and reviewing compliance reports

Liaising directly with clients, facilities managers and property managers

Ensuring works comply with relevant standards including:

BS 5839
BS 5306
BS 8214
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order

Supporting business growth by helping develop new fire compliance opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction project management with a focus on fire safety compliance.
  • Strong background in system design related to fire detection, alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 or equivalent standards within the UK.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and liaise effectively with regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in fire safety management or system design are highly desirable. Pay: £30,180.21-£42,275.64 per year
