  • Project Management: Oversee aspects of fire and security projects, including budgets, timelines, and client communication. Ensure that systems are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality.
  • Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that systems are tailored to meet their needs.
  • Mentoring and Training: Mentor junior staff and trainees, fostering continuous improvement within the design team.
  • Proposal and Quotation Preparation: Prepare proposals, technical submittals, designs, drawings, and quotations for clients and projects.
  • Site Surveys and Design Meetings: Conduct site surveys across the UK, attend design meetings, and ensure compliance with industry regulations for each project.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to clients and internal teams, resolving any system-related issues and offering troubleshooting assistance.
  • Stay Current on Industry Standards: Keep up-to-date with advancements in fire and security technologies and regulations, incorporating new solutions and best practices into system designs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:

- Proven experience in designing Fire & Security systems, including Fire Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV.

- At least 5 years of experience in a fire and security design role.
