We are looking for a skilled Industrial Door and Dock Leveller Engineer to install, maintain, service, and repair a range of industrial doors, dock levellers, and loading bay equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
· Installation, servicing, and repair of industrial doors, sectional doors, roller shutters, high-speed doors, fire doors, dock levellers, and loading bay equipment.
· Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
· Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
· Working on a range of manufacturers’ equipment in warehouses, distribution centres, and commercial premises.
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Completing job sheets, service reports, and other paperwork.
· Providing excellent customer service and professional advice to clients.
· Travelling to customer sites across the region (company van provided).
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or Dock Leveller Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of industrial doors, dock levellers, and associated equipment.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391).
- Mechanical or engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- CSCS Card, IPAF, PASMA, or other industry certifications.
- Experience with automatic doors, gates, and barriers.
- Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
