Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Manachester Area (with company vehicle provided)
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Package: Company vehicle, overtime, door-to-door pay

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients across the Manchester region. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art systems and provide exceptional service to a diverse range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain fire alarms, security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control), and other related systems.
  • Technical Support: Diagnose faults, provide solutions, and carry out repairs on all systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that clients' needs are met and systems are functioning properly.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant fire and security regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation: Complete service reports and documentation accurately, including risk assessments and system testing.
  • Door-to-Door Pay: Travel to and from job sites across the Yorkshire area, with door-to-door pay included.
  • Overtime: Available and encouraged, with overtime paid above standard working hours.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems (fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, etc.).
  • A valid UK driving license (company vehicle will be provided).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, ECS card, or similar qualifications) are desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair system faults efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of current fire and security regulations and standards.
  • Must be flexible and willing to travel across the Yorkshire area.
