Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fire Door manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of Firas accredited fire doors within various facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding and knowledge of passive fire protection and fire door regulations and standards, come from a Carpentry back ground and have a good understanding of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing fire protection systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to fire protection and doors.
- Good communication skills
- excellent computer skills
- excellent knowledge in all areas of Project management
- able to use one trace & Firas systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire doors is a must
- Strong knowledge of local, national, and international fire safety codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences & attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
- Level 3 carpentry
- SMSTS mandatory
- NVQ 6 or above in Site management mandatory
