Full job description

Must have Past Exerperience as a Fish Fryer who has worked in an actual Fish & Chip Shop before then only apply.

Job Purpose To Provide exceptional service to customers & produce the best in Fish & Chips.

Role & Responsibilites

Specific Duties

Organisation

Assist the management team in the day to day activities for all the aspects of the department.

Delegating tasks from the Management team & checking they have been completed.

Frying Fish & other related food.

Preparation of Fish, batter etc.

Peeling, Chipping Potatoes.

Oil Rotation/Management

Waste Management

Portion Control

Stock Control/Rotation

Opening Closing Premises

Cash Handling & General Financial duties.

Managing a small retail team & training new staff when necessary

Liasing with Suppliers

Cleanliness, adhering to health & Safety requirements & general organisation throughout front & back shop

Telephone Operation

Product development & innovation through new ideas

Communication

Communicating day tasks / targets to the team

Sharing the priority of tasks when instructed by a member of management

Performance Management

Engage the team to ensure they are working to the highest standards

Customer Service

Expectations - Ensure all team members deliver providing excellent customer service

Welcome every customer as they enter the shop

Assisting Customers in the choices

Procedure Management

Daily cleaning tasks completed to the highest standards

Ensuring cleaning sheets filled out daily & checked.

Recycling

Ensure all team members follow company Policies & Procedures for recycling & waste
