Full job description

Fintans Fish & Chip co are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Fryer / Chef to join our busy team.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and cooking of high-quality foods while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. Previous experience operating commercial fryers or working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable.

You must be naturally reliable, punctual, and possess a "get-up-and-go" attitude to complete tasks to the very best of your ability under pressure.

We need someone with a strict approach to cleanliness and a strong understanding of food hygiene regulations.

About the Role-You will prepare fresh ingredients daily, which includes cutting fish and mixing fresh batter to our exact standards.

You will operate large frying equipment to cook and serve all menu items efficiently during peak hours.

You must strictly follow HACCP legislation and complete daily and weekly kitchen cleaning schedules.

Finally, you will support your team manager with any other reasonable kitchen duties and complete mandatory training refreshes as required, and always have a Sunday off!!

Pay: £13.00-£13.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
