Job Summary

We are seeking a professional CPC Minibus and Coach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s CPC qualification, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate minibuses and coaches in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Transport passengers to various destinations efficiently and punctually.
  • Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
  • Adhere to all legal requirements regarding driving hours, tachograph regulations, and licensing.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s CPC qualification recognised in the UK.
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery or passenger transport experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance tasks.
  • Strong communication skills in English, capable of engaging with passengers professionally.
  • Demonstrable driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
