Full job description

Future Talent Learning is a purpose-led organisation on a mission to revolutionise workplace learning. We partner with organisations to deliver award-winning leadership and management development through government-funded apprenticeships and our AI-powered platform Mentarri.

What will you do?
As an Apprenticeship Coach, you’ll be at the heart of what we do - empowering adult learners to thrive and, above all, seeing them through to successful completion. You’ll support learners across leadership, digital, AI and automation apprenticeship pathways, helping them grow in confidence and capability and stay on track to End Point Assessment.

As AI and automation reshape how people work, you’ll grow alongside your learners: we don’t expect you to have all the knowledge on day one, but we do look for curiosity, adaptability and a genuine interest in how AI can improve the way we learn and work.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a caseload of approximately 45-50 adult learners
- Taking ownership of each learner’s progress and completion, through tailored coaching & feedback and driving readiness for End Point Assessment.
- Adapting and personalising the learning journey to suit individual learner needs.
- Providing motivational, developmental written and verbal feedback, using our internal AI system Mentarri
- Coaching learners to apply digital, AI and automation skills in real workplace contexts, developing your own knowledge in these areas as the standards evolve.
- Working with employers and line managers through regular progress reviews to agree meaningful workplace evidence opportunities and keep learners on track.
- Maintaining accurate learner records via our LMS, Aptem.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure quality and timely achievements of KPIs
- Investing in your own continuing professional development

About you
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about learner success and determined to see every learner through to completion. Above all, you’ll be adaptable, curious and excited by the potential of AI and automation to change how people learn and work - you don’t need to be an AI expert today, but you do need the appetite to keep learning and we'll provide the training, resources and support to upskill you. You’ll bring a professional, empathetic coaching style and the emotional intelligence to support others through change.

Importantly, you will also have:

- Proven experience coaching and assessing adult learners on management apprenticeships.
- Commercial background in a line management role (typically at least 12 months), providing sufficient occupational competence to coach and assess learners undertaking management apprenticeships.
- CAVA, AET, PGCE, or equivalent teaching/assessing qualifications.

What We Offer
At Future Talent Learning, we invest in our people. You'll find an exciting and innovative environment where you can learn, grow, and make a real impact.

This includes dedicated time for your own CPD, including structured support to build your AI, digital and automation confidence as the apprenticeship landscape evolves.

Benefits include:

- Full remote working from home setup (laptop provided)
- 25 days annual leave, plus 3 additional days over the Christmas period
- A 4-day work week (with full 5-day pay) after 6 months' probation
- Fully remote working with flexible hours
- Company pension scheme
- Free access to Spill (therapy and mental health support)
- £160 annual book/wellbeing budget
- £100 home office setup allowance
- In-person company socials
