Full job description
Join our Production Team:
Cornish Concrete Products Ltd is looking for a Concrete Batcher to help supply quality concrete to our precast and flooring production teams. You will operate the batching plant, coordinate batches with production and help keep the plant safe, clean and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Batch concrete accurately using approved mix designs and production instructions.
- Monitor concrete consistency and work with the quality team to maintain standards.
- Coordinate supply with production teams and keep accurate batching records.
- Check raw material deliveries, monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs.
- Carry out routine plant checks, safe cleaning and authorised basic maintenance.
Requirements:
- Good numeracy skills.
- Attention to detail and confidence in using computer-based controls.
- A practical approach to machinery and a strong commitment to safe working.
- Prior concrete batching or precast experience.
- Previous mobile plant training is preferable.
- Experience using COMMAND batch from Command Alkon is preferable, however training will be provded.

You will be dependable, organised and able to communicate clearly with colleagues. You will take pride in consistent quality, spot problems early and respond calmly when production priorities change.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
