Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Herringbone Specialist to join our flooring installation team as an LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Flooring Installer. In this role, you will focus on expertly installing Herringbone-patterned LVT flooring, ensuring precise craftsmanship and high-quality finishes. Your expertise will help transform spaces with beautiful, durable flooring solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced installers who thrive on creating visually stunning floors and take pride in their workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and prepare LVT materials for installation according to project schematics and specifications
  • Accurately install Herringbone-patterned flooring, ensuring alignment, spacing, and pattern consistency
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations
  • Read and interpret construction schematics, layouts, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
  • Prepare subfloors by performing surface cleaning, leveling, or minor repairs as needed for optimal adhesion
  • Apply construction painting techniques when necessary to ensure clean edges and finished surfaces
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

  • Proven experience in flooring installation, particularly with Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) products and Herringbone patterns
  • Strong background in construction work with familiarity in using hand tools such as chisels, pry bars, and measuring tapes
  • Competence in operating power tools including saws, drills, and pneumatic tools for precise cuts and secure fittings
  • Knowledge of carpentry principles to ensure accurate measurements and proper subfloor preparation
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, or installation guides effectively
  • Experience with construction painting is a plus for finishing touches around the installed flooring
  • Prior work in construction environments demonstrating safety awareness and attention to detail
