Full job description
Flourish Education are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a well-established and welcoming secondary school in Bromsgrove from September 2026 until December 2026. The school is committed to delivering a high-quality education and creating an environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
With a strong focus on academic achievement, personal development, and positive relationships, the school provides a supportive and inclusive setting where both staff and students can thrive.
Our partnership school is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Humanities Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be confident teaching Humanities subjects, including History, Geography and/or Religious Studies, depending on the school's timetable requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated department and make a positive impact within a diverse and ambitious school community.
You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, as well as attending parents' evenings and completing report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.

Required Skills and Experience as a Humanities Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching Humanities within a Secondary School
- Ability to teach Humanities subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Proven ability with good behaviour management
- A commitment to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
Benefits of working as a Humanities Teacher with Flourish Education:
- Pay from £168.00 - £261.78 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £51,048 based on working five days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience)
