As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Installations Manager to take ownership of site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, site-focused role responsible for managing the full installation process across multiple projects. You will oversee pre-installation planning, coordinate site activities, manage installers and subcontractors, and ensure all works are delivered to programme and company standards.

You will act as the key link between site and office, maintaining clear communication with clients, internal teams, and suppliers, while taking full ownership of health and safety, quality control, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Installation & Planning

• Attend sites ahead of installation to assess readiness, logistics, and risks.
• Prepare detailed pre-installation reports, outlining site constraints, access, and required actions.
• Develop clear installation strategies, including sequencing and delivery planning.

Project Coordination & Logistics

• Plan and coordinate installation schedules across multiple projects.
• Ensure all materials, equipment, and site provisions are in place ahead of works.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Client & Site Communication

• Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients and contractors.
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates clearly to both client and office teams.
• Represent Fluid Glass professionally at all times.

Installation Management

• Oversee installation teams to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Manage sequencing of works and allocation of labour.
• Ensure installations are completed within agreed timelines.

Health & Safety

• Take full ownership of on-site health and safety compliance.
• Prepare and issue RAMS documentation in advance of works.
• Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and regular audits.
• Ensure strict adherence to PPE and safety procedures at all times.

Labour & Subcontractor Management

• Manage and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain a reliable network of skilled installers.
• Ensure labour levels match project requirements and timelines.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Carry out regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
• Ensure installations meet all regulatory and client requirements.
• Maintain high standards of site organisation and cleanliness.

Project Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records, including photographic documentation at all stages.
• Update project trackers, snagging logs, and CRM systems.
• Provide clear and timely reporting to management.

Snagging & Handover

• Manage and resolve all snagging items efficiently.
• Carry out final quality checks and oversee project completion.
• Ensure a professional handover and client satisfaction. 

About You

• Strong experience in installation management within construction or glazing.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident approach on site.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and site processes.
• Able to lead teams, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and delivery.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £250.00-£300.00 per day
