Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsible trained crewed aviation Pilot to join our team as Remote Operator (PIC). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) remotely to support various projects, including aerial surveys, inspections, and data collection. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilising advanced technology to deliver precise and reliable results. The ideal applicant will possess excellent time management skills and strong analysis capabilities to ensure efficient operations and accurate data interpretation.

Duties

  • Operate UAVs remotely in accordance with safety regulations and operational guidelines
  • Liaise, schedule and monitor airspace with ATC & clients
  • Monitor drone performance throughout flights as PIC, making adjustments as necessary
  • Collect high-quality aerial imagery and data for analysis purposes
  • Maintain detailed records of flight logs, technical issues, and mission outcomes
  • Conduct pre-flight checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Adhere to all legal and safety standards related to UAV operations

Qualifications

  • CPL / fATPL license
  • Strong time management skills to coordinate flight team and flight planning efficiently
  • Weather planning skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members
