Full job description

We are a growing artisanal bakery looking for an experienced baker to join our friendly and professional team. Bread and/or viennoiserie experience for a minimum two year is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to grow with us and improve their skill and gain new ones under the guidance of our experienced head baker.

Job description:

  • Full-time , No night shifts, Early start (4:00am)
  • 4-5 shifts a week (rotational weekend availability necessary)
  • Starting from £17/h (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
  • 40 hours a week
  • Training and skill progression opportunities

Job responsibilities:

  • Production of sourdough bread, laminated pastries and other baked goods to a high standard and following the methods provided
  • Able to rotate between stations and multitask including mixing, shaping, laminating etc.
  • Cleaning during the production process, keeping stations tidy and following hygiene protocols
  • Getting involved in the production process, training and improving skills along the way

Job requirements:

  • Experience working in a bakery
  • RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
  • Level 2 Food hygiene certification
  • Willingness and desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to travel in the early hours of the morning and work long hours while standing
  • Good communication skills
  • Being punctual, organised and responsible
  • Desire to become a long-term member of our team
