The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional to take responsibility for driving health and safety performance across multiple operational sites.

You will work closely with site management teams, supervisors, and employees to ensure legal compliance, reduce risk, improve safety performance, and promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Health & Safety activities across all company sites to ensure a consistent approach to safety management, legal compliance, and risk control.
  • Monitor site performance through audits, inspections, and KPI reviews to ensure standards are maintained consistently across the organisation.
  • Drive standardisation of safety documentation, contractor controls, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response arrangements across all sites
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Develop, deliver, and coordinate health & safety training programmes and maintain the training matrix
  • Support and lead emergency preparedness, including fire safety and first aid arrangements
  • Review, update, and implement health & safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation
  • Drive a strong safety culture through engagement, communication, and coaching at all levels
  • Ensure correct use and availability of PPE and safety equipment
  • Monitor and maintain first aid provisions across the site

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about health and safety and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Confident in engaging with teams and influencing positive change.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Occasional travel to other sites throughout the island of Ireland will be required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (essential)
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a similar Health & Safety role
  • Experience within food manufacturing, warehousing, or cold storage environments is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in auditing, inspections, and incident investigation
