Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, looking to contribute to a welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, following established standards.
  • Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are dust-free and spotless.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other public spaces to uphold the hotel's appearance.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management promptly.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use cleaning equipment and products efficiently and responsibly, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, folding, and storing linens.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
