Food Production Team Member

Sea Sisters | Craft Fish Cannery | Food Production

About Sea Sisters

Sea Sisters are the UK’s first Craft Fish cannery. We create a range of award-winning canned fish we call British Conservas, made with locally landed, ethically sourced fish paired with quality ingredients and innovative recipes. Our products support the British fishing industry by celebrating the amazing seafood landed around our coasts and turning it into exceptional pantry staples.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Food Production Team Member to join our cannery team for our evening shift. This is a practical, fast-paced role where you’ll be part of the day-to-day production of our British Conservas.

You don’t need previous food manufacturing experience — you can learn on the job — but you do need to enjoy the energy of production, take pride in working carefully, and understand the importance of hygiene and food safety in a food environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing ingredients and supporting the production process
  • Filling, packing and handling product carefully and accurately
  • Labelling, batching and completing production checks
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
  • Following food safety procedures and team instructions at all times
  • Supporting clean downs, setup, and general production tasks
  • Working as part of a team to hit daily production goals

What We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who is:

  • Hard-working and reliable, with a strong work ethic
  • A good team player, with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Receptive to taking instructions and following processes
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Confident working at pace and staying focused
  • Able to take initiative and help out where needed

Because this is hands-on production work, it’s also important you have:

  • Excellent motor skills and coordination
  • Strong manual and mental dexterity
  • Great attention to detail and consistency

What You’ll Get

  • Full training provided — learn a specialist food production process
  • A supportive team and friendly working environment
  • The chance to work for an award-winning, values-led UK food brand
  • Staff discount on Sea Sisters products

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Free parking

Application question(s):

  • Succesful applicants to have their own transport

Work Location: In person
