Lochs and Glens Holidays is a travel company with 6 privately owned hotels, providing coach holidays to Scotland.

Loch Awe Hotel is a bustling holiday hotel located in a scenic yet remote area near to Oban. We pride ourselves on providing warm hospitality and excellent service to our guests, ensuring a memorable stay in a beautiful setting.
Summary

We are seeking dedicated General Assistants to join our team at Loch Awe Hotel. This vital role involves supporting various departments including housekeeping, waiting tables, and kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Hospitality and Service: Serving breakfast and evening meals with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Kitchen: Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation, cleaning and serving food.
  • Housekeeping: Ensuring guest bedrooms and public areas are cleaned to a high standard, including bed making and replenishing supplies.
  • Guest Relations: Provide a warm and helpful attitude to all guests, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within the team and adapt to various roles as required to support the hotel's needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Can-do attitude: You're happy to switch from vaccuming a room to serving a three-course meal without missing a beat.
  • Peoples person: Our guests love a chat! A friendly, patient and helpful personality is key.
  • Reliability: You take pride in showing up to work on time and giving 100% in everything you do.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with shift work which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus however, we are happy to train anyone with the right positive attitude.
