Overview
Are you looking to join a fun family dynamic team?

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing delicious balanced meals for our children

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals each day; including lunch, tea and snacks.
- Adapting dishes to meet a variety of dietary and allergy requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders weekly
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Responsible for completing risk assessments in the kitchen area.
- Planning and following seasonal menus
- Cover staff in the classrooms when require

Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen is desirable
- Food Hygiene and First Aid qualifications are desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.92 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
