Chef – Full Time

Pay: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in a busy, fast-paced kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-energy environment and takes pride in producing quality food while maintaining high kitchen standards.

Our kitchen focuses on fresh pub food, prepared and served in a busy bar and restaurant environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen and be confident working efficiently during busy service periods. Experience working in a high-volume kitchen is essential, and at times you may be required to manage the kitchen independently during quieter services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Food preparation and setup ahead of service
  • Working efficiently during busy service periods
  • Ordering and managing stock levels
  • Completing required kitchen paperwork and records
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen
  • Following all food safety and health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Line Cook in a similar environment
  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen
