Front of house Team Member

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking Front of House Team Members to join the team at The Winking Prawn, a busy and welcoming beach café and restaurant overlooking North Sands.

You will be one of the main faces of the business, creating a warm and memorable experience for every customer. The role is varied and fast-paced, covering everything from welcoming guests and taking orders, to serving food and drinks and keeping the restaurant and outdoor areas clean and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout each guest's visit.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food, drinks, coffees, cakes and ice creams.
  • Explain menu items and answer questions about dishes, including dietary requirements and allergens.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and other members of the Front of House team to ensure smooth service.
  • A good team player with a positive attitude.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves a busy atmosphere and wants to be part of a friendly hospitality team in a unique beachside setting.

Applicants must be 18 or over

Experience helpful but full training will be given.

Hourly Pay from £13 per hour depending on age and experience
