Full job description

ROLE: GENERAL ASSISTANT - LENNOXTOWN
TYPE: PART-TIME 20HRS, 5 DAYS FROM 7

Celtic Football Club is currently recruiting for a General Assistant to be responsible for actively supporting and delivering the catering and cleaning services at the Lennoxtown Training Ground.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning

  • Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard following the guidance and working practices stipulated within operating manual of the facility.
  • Ensure all waste bags are removed from the facility and then disposed of into the correct waste stream.
  • Ensure at all times that the 660LT waste bins located in the compound are filled correctly with no over flow or waste store out with.
  • Ensure all cleaning checklists are completed accurately
  • Ensure you complete all the relevant training in all hygiene based courses, BICS, COSSH, Health and Safety including Celtic FC module courses available on Learning Hub.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and returned to cleaning stores after use.
  • Management of cleaning equipment and control of stock
  • Assist in reviewing working practices with General Manager Soft Services to ensure customer satisfaction levels are being reached and surpassed

Catering

  • Ensure both dining rooms are ready and well maintained throughout and on each activation of a catering service.
  • Ensure dining rooms are maintained through pro-active cleaning to ensure Elite Status is maintained
  • Ensure positive collaboration and communication with Kitchen Brigade to understand menu content, allergy content and have knowledge on Player and Management preferences.
  • Respond quickly and positively to any concerns or negative feedback from Players or Management to ensure we deliver Elite Services

Site Services

  • De-littering duties around training ground perimeter external and internal under direction.
  • General duties to ensure we maintain an elite facility i.e. stocking of fridges etc.

Management has the right to amend the above Role Summary in consultation with the employee to reflect the changes in or to the job.

Skills and Experience required

  • Knowledge or understanding of the following:
  • Health and Safety Certification
  • COSHH Certification
  • Waste Management Certification
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Full training will be given to ensure Elite Facility Status is maintained.
  • Experience within a hospitality or leisure environment.
  • Personal accountability
  • Flexibility as work patterns may change as season progresses.
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Elite Mind Set
