In this Forensic Accountant role, you will be joining one of the world’s most well-respected and well-established forensic accounting firms with over 40 offices across 5 continents.

They work with a range of clients from multi-national corporations and government entities to insurance firms and individuals to help accurately calculate the true economic damage of claims or disputes. They will also work with leading law firms to provide expert witness testimony and provide litigation support in court where damages are contested.

Job description - Forensic Accountant (German Speaking)
In this Forensic Accountant role in London, you will assist with modelling the performance of businesses in a “what if” scenario to calculate financial losses sustained as well as business valuations and fraud investigations.

You will be exposed to an array of businesses and industries located all over the world and will benefit professionally from working with many experienced and knowledgeable individuals. Forensic accounting is an exciting and niche area of the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities - Forensic Accountant (German Speaking)
In this Forensic Accountant opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

• Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data.
• Physical inventory observation and price testing.
• Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement.
• Checking and proofing reports and schedules.
• Conduct phone or in-person interviews to obtain information.
• Research, data analysis, and evaluation.
• Invoice analysis.
• Attend marketing events and functions with clients.

Job requirements - Forensic Accountant (German Speaking)

• A 2.1 or above from university in Economics, Accounting & Finance, Business, or Maths.
• 1-2 years of commercial experience in Accounting, Audit, Financial modelling or related roles.
• Analytical and logical with good attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills – This is key!
• Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Fluency in English AND German.
