What You'll Do:

• Conduct complex risk-based audits and consulting tasks, including research, analysis, testing, and reporting on governance, processes, technology, controls, and operations.
• Assess IT-enabled controls (e.g., system access, automated controls, data integrity) in collaboration with technology teams.
• Liaise with management to discuss progress, results, process improvements, and remediation efforts.
• Engage in client discussions to evaluate risks and control effectiveness, fostering collaboration within the audit team and building relationships with stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality work papers and deliverables such as narratives, flowcharts, testing documentation, recommendations, audit findings and support special projects and departmental initiatives as required.
• Apply industry knowledge to provide practical recommendations considering standards, regulations, and global impacts.
• Mentor colleagues on audit processes, methodologies, business lines, support technologies

What You Bring:

• Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience; MIS/IT coursework is advantageous.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CMIIA, CIA) or advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are desirable.
• Experience in financial services (e.g., asset management, banking) and audits (operational, financial statement, internal, advisory/consulting, controls/compliance/legal).
• Familiarity with financial services industry, regulatory requirements, and IT systems preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with diverse responsibilities.
• Proficiency in data analytics to extract insights for decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to support broader team needs when required.
