Full job description

As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with big ambitions - we have a clear goal to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. This vision touches everything we do, motivating and inspiring us to become better every day. If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.

Make an Impact at RSM UK

There has never been a more exciting time to join RSM’s digitally led Forensic practice. As this area continues to grow, we are expanding our disputes capability and offering the opportunity to take on a hands-on Manager role within a dynamic and ambitious team.

Our Forensic team supports clients across a broad range of contentious matters, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver high-quality work in complex and often high-profile situations. This role offers the chance to work across expert accounting engagements including quantum and damages analysis, valuations, SPA disputes, business interruption and warranty claims, and litigation and mediation support.

As a Manager (Managing Consultant) in our Disputes team, you will play a central role in managing and delivering client assignments, supporting senior leadership while taking day-to-day responsibility for progressing work, coordinating junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients and instructing lawyers. You will also contribute to business development activity and help support the continued growth of this expanding area of the practice.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of disputes and expert accounting assignments across a varied portfolio of matters
  • Preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality client deliverables, reports, and other written outputs
  • Building strong day-to-day relationships with clients and instructing lawyers while responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring deadlines, budgets, and assignment financial performance to keep work on track
  • Coaching junior team members, supporting assignment planning, and contributing to proposals, pitches, and wider business development activity

What we are looking for:

You will be a highly motivated professionally qualified accountant with strong technical capability and a practical, hands-on approach to delivering high-quality client work. You will bring experience of disputes-related work and forensic accounting assignments, alongside the ability to manage multiple workstreams, take ownership of delivery, and support more junior colleagues.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Professionally qualified accountant with previous experience in disputes-related work and forensic accounting assignments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, coordinate multiple workstreams, and meet demanding deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong financial analysis capability
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, high-quality reports for a range of audiences
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with the confidence to work independently, manage assignments, and support junior team members

What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.

  • 27 Days Holiday
  • Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP
  • Access to a suite of 300+ courses on demand developed by our inhouse Talent Development team
