P&J are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Order Picker & Stock Controller to join our team. Both full and part time candidates will be considered. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our parts stock, from goods-in to dispatch. You will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels, safeguarding quality standards, and supporting both our internal production and external supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management:

Maintain adequate stock levels of all parts to support production and customer demand.

Goods-In Inspection:

Check incoming deliveries for compliance with purchase orders, including quantity, quality, and dimensions.

Purchase Order Processing:

Accurately book in received purchased orders and store items in their appropriate locations.

Purchase Order Requests:

Proactively request purchase orders to replenish stock from both internal production and external suppliers.

Stock Control:

Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate computer records of all stock movements using stock management systems.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer requirements.

About You

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, and stock control role.

Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.

Familiarity with stock management systems and computer literacy

Forklift driver

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Physically able to handle stock and perform manual tasks as required.

Excellent communication skills.
