  • Author, update, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using RxESS software.
  • Prepare technical documentation including reports, standards, specifications, and technical papers.
  • Support Dangerous Goods compliance processes and assist with annual Dangerous Goods audits.
  • Provide guidance and information to staff and customers regarding hazardous materials and dangerous goods handling.

Production & Stock Control

  • Maintain stock control of laboratory raw materials and arrange purchasing when required.
  • Manage retained samples and monitor returnable IBCs and associated deposit tracking.
  • Develop a sound understanding of company blending procedures and production operations.
  • Coordinate chemical waste collection and disposal in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Technical Support & Product Development

  • Provide technical advice and support to customers and suppliers via telephone, email, and face-to-face communication.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Support Research & Development activities and New Product Development processes.
  • Assist with scaling new products and processes from laboratory trials through to pilot and full-scale production.
  • Contribute to the development of safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have demonstrable experience in all aspects of the responsibilities outlined above.

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Previous experience in a chemical laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and analytical procedures.
